Jumping out of a plane at 15,000 feet
It was a summer day when i decided I was going to jump out of a plane.

This was a tandem jump, and my instructor was very understanding about my deafness. We headed to the plane, and set off on our climb to the jump height of 15,000 feet over North Lincolnshire

sitting on the edge of the door looking out on the world below, i was surprisingly calm. I trusted my instructor with my life. literally.

as we fell in freefall the wind was rushing about my head. it was such an adrenaline rush.

we pulled the ripcord and everything went quiet as the canopy opened and we floated gently toward the ground.

and all too quickly it was over. back on terra firma. What an experience!
